Asha graduated from University of Reading, United Kingdom with an LL.B (Hons) (2nd Class Upper) in the year 2017 and subsequently was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn as a Barrister-at-Law in the year 2019. Thereafter, she commenced her pupillage under the tutelage of our Ms. Chithra Jeganathan and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in February 2021. She has since been retained as an Associate and is currently practicing in the area of Insurance, Reinsurance and Re-Takaful Litigation.

Liaw graduated from The National University of Malaysia (UKM) with Bachelor of Law (Honours) in 2020. Thereafter, he commenced his pupillage under the tutelage of our Mr. Balakumar s/o Balasundram. In November 2021, he was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He has since been retained as an Associate in our firm and is currently practicing in the area of Insurance, Takaful, Reinsurance and Re-Takaful Litigation.

Leona graduated with a Second Class Upper LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 2015. She also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, specialising in international commercial law including financial and monetary, competition and consumer protection law. She obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2017 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in March 2019. Prior to joining us, Leona completed her pupillage in the chambers of Messrs. Zul Rafique & Partners where she assisted with construction law, alternative dispute resolution matters and also other capacities including audit, compliance and legal. She joined this firm as an Associate in April 2022 and is currently practising in the area of conveyancing, corporate, banking and commercial.

Nuramirah Hafni graduated from University of Malaya with LL.B (Honours) in 2022. She commenced her pupilage at Messers. Selva Jailani & Co under the guidance of Mr Jailani Anuwar. Subsequently, she was called to the Malaysian Bar in September 2022. She joined Messers Azim, Tunku Farik & Wong as an Associate in February 2023 and her current area of practice is Insurance Litigation.

Tan Jia Qian (Hayley) graduated from the University of London with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in the Bachelor of Laws in the year 2020. Subsequently, Hayley obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in the year 2022, which she passed on her first attempt. Thereafter, she commenced her pupillage at Messrs. Siong & Rita under the tutelage of Mr. Ong Chin Siong. In June 2023, she was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She joined this firm in July 2023 and is currently practicing in the area of Insurance, Takaful, Reinsurance and Re-Takaful Litigation.

Erma Syofea graduated with First Class Honors from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in November 2022. She commenced her pupillage in our firm under the tutelage of Ms. J. Chithra and was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2023. Erma has since been retained as an Associate in our firm and her current area of practice is Insurance Litigation.

Joyce obtained her L.L.B. from University of London in 2021. She later achieved a distinction in her L.L.M. (Bar training course) from Cardiff University in 2022. Upon completion of her pupilage, she was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in August 2023. In September 2023, she joined this firm as an Associate specialising in Medico Legal Litigation.

Jovine Ling graduated with First-Class Honours from Multimedia University (MMU) in November 2022. She was also awarded the Tun Azmi Foundation Award 2022 by the Faculty of Law. She completed her pupillage at Messrs Sidek Teoh Wong & Dennis, and in October 2023, she was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She joined Messrs Azim, Tunku Farik & Wong as an Associate in December 2023 and is currently practicing in the area of Insurance Litigation.

Alvin Yap graduated from University of Hull with LL.B (Honours) in 2015. Upon completing his Certificate in Legal Practice, he commenced his pupilage at Messers. Khoo & Sidhu under the guidance of Mr Andrew Khoo Kok Tsan. He was retained as a Legal Assistant in the same firm upon being called to the Malaysian Bar in 2018. He joined Messers Azim Tunku Farik & Wong as an Associate in April 2024 and his current area of practice is Motor Claims Insurance.

Koh Mun Ling (Zoe) holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from the University of Liverpool in 2017 and a Master of Laws (L.L.M) in Bar Professional Training, completed alongside her Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London in 2019. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in 2019. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2023 and subsequently joined Azim, Tunku Farik & Wong as an Associate, where she focuses on Banking, Commercial, Corporate and Conveyancing matters.

Wong Hui Yi (Stephanie) obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from Taylor’s University, graduating with Second Class Upper Honours. She successfully completed her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) on her first seating in 2023. Stephanie commenced her pupillage with us under the tutelage of our Mr. Steven Wong Wai Leong and was subsequently admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 30th August 2024. She has since been retained as an Associate and is currently practicing in the area of Insurance, Takaful, Reinsurance and Re-Takaful Litigation..

Sun Yau graduated from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom with a Second Class Upper LL.B (Hons) degree in 2018. In 2019, he completed his Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and obtained Master of Laws (LL.M) and subsequently called to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn as a Barrister-at-Law. Sun Yau completed his pupillage in Messrs. Alvin John & Partners under the mentorship of Dato’ Alvin John. On 16 April 2021, he was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He joined this firm as an Associate in August 2024 and is currently practicing in the area of Banking, Commercial, Corporate and Conveyancing.
